Peter Liechti has been known for his distinctive brand of essay film for almost 20 years. His award-winning feature and documentary films mix writing, thinking, music and images with a deep earnestness but also a great sense of humour. His films have premiered and won prizes at festivals such as Locarno, Nyon, Viennale, and Amsterdam, among others. This mini-retrospective will present three of his best-loved films for the first time in New York.
